Oil Change. Still using the factory recommended Mobil 1 0-40. Filter was absent of unusual debris.

Not really today

but it was this week. New plugs, new pads and rotors all the way around, new rear control arms and then I drove it for the first time this year.

I use Mobil 1 0W-40 and that is all that will go into my car. I once changed to Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-30 and got engine clatter on start up. It was out of my motor in 2 days and back to the 0W-40.

I'm not changing unless someone can show me another 0W-40 oil that is better.

Nice feeling on the debris clean filter eh?

Your got your money's worth out of that water pump. My original water pump went out at around 109K miles.

I had to replace the driver's side roll bar windstop clip. I carefully removed the vinyl trim piece, drilled out the rivet and installed the new clip. I then hid the wires for the windstop LED's.

Pelican listed the clips on the roll bar as no longer available. I need to replace one - where did you get yours?

ZIM's Home | Zim's Autotechnik which is also where I get my car serviced. The clips only come in a pack with both right and left and the bottom piece along with the rivets, about $30. ZIM's advertises in Excellence and Panomara. I am fortunate that I live 10 minutes from them. Give Kirk a call on Monday.

I was in the middle of painting my calipers when I got called to an accident where a tractor flipped over.

Can you spot the completely upside-down tractor?

Got home from the 14 hour shift to open the package that arrived today:

Hoping to finish up the calipers tomorrow and install this weekend.

Finished installing the rear speaker kit from Euro Motorspeed on eBay. I took a lot of time with this install. A little here and there over two months. Today I finished the wiring and it all works for me the first time!

The sound is a heck of a lot better. It was worth the time and money for me.
