Drove it. Been -25 C for a few days now. Starts right away. No farts or coughs.Blast to drive in the winter. Heater works great nice and warm with the hardtop. One downside is the wipers and the washer fluid are cold. No engine heat like most NA cars. Not the best to clean the windshield. Upside sure is fun in a parking lot.

Last night I went to go for a drive, I checked my brake lights against the garage door and as I depressed the pedal further down my brake light went out. I had a little wtf moment. I did a little search and found out it was the break pedal switch

I wiggled it a bit and presto! It works again. It was probably getting stuck on a wire

Received a 997 shifter in the mail today. Can't wait to take it out of storage and do this project in... 3 months...

Replaced the windshield... Again. It would be nice if a windshield lasted more than 160,000 miles.

$456 from Safelite Auto-Glass, total cost including tax and installation. I was able to use my existing molding, it is in great shape. The standard molding they use does not have the gloss finish as Porsche factory. So if you want to maintain that gloss finish on your molding use your existing or order a new one from Porsche. Safelite can order from Porsche for additional cost (I don't know what that is).

I had mine replaced by Safelite a few months ago. I didn't order the molding, I just let them use the generic one. It actually doesn't look bad at all.

I like the black molding better too. Not a big fan of the titanium finish on my S. Window shields don't last long here in Phoenx with the freeways lined with granite rocks.

Drove my boxster more this morning than I have since I purchased it! It was kind of walking on the road, so I went by a tire shop and had them adjust my tire pressure. And whoa what a difference. Doesn't even feel like the same car! Then I drove to the local Porsche dealer to see if they could check my axle nut torque. They torqued it down (was only at 310 instead of 340) they also buffed a small scratch out, and tightened an exhaust heat shield.. all for free!! Wow. Awesome service.

Btw, I was out of pocket $50. Mine was scratched to the point of being dangerous. My insurance company paid the rest.

I needed the new windshield so I can enjoy the scenery in my back yard. I took a drive on Foxen Canyon Road, with the top down, 72 degrees, no wind, dust free, tour. It was just an awesome day for a Boxster drive.

Drove mine ? -20 - 30 C here for a week. In a non heated garage ,always starts. Even the day my wife`s Fit didn`t. With the hartop it`s nice and warm. These cars are a blast to drive in snow.

I just tried some of that. And I just got back from the track. I have net yet got down there to clean them yet, I will update with photos when I do. I have heard great things about the Rejex.

Drove the Box 80 miles down to San Diego to look at a 2002 996 that has to have the engine rebuilt. Beautiful sunny day!

I found out that the boxster can easily fit one lucky teen guy and two cheer leaders today . (Don't worry it was a short drive.)
