Northeast Ohio

Cold 47 deg and sunny.

Took it out for the first time this year! It fired right up. Cleaning the radiators of all the debris in the Fall seemed to have no effect on the engine temperature. Oh well, at least I know they are clean.

It was fun to hear that engine again.

Put the top down and did a spirited run down the mountain to a vineyard for some wine and bluegrass. Great day with hints of spring along the way.

Clay bar magic!

Broke out a clay bar for the first time and finally cleaned years of crud from my paint. The previous owner only ever spray-waxed the car to my knowledge. I was quite impressed by how much stuff came off and how smooth the finish is now! Put on a coat of liquid wax, and it could use another coat or two. Done for the day, I'd rather go tool around town.

Put in a new US cigarette lighter, replaced the broken hinge on the storage compartment , and put new clips on the windscreen. I still want to adjust the emergency brake, but that can wait until tomorrow.

Put some "Danger" yellow on the Jägermobile today (new struts), also had some new brake pads and rotors laying around so I replaced those while I was at it.

I would like to see some pics of your calipers. I will be doing mine black next week & I would like to get an idea of what they will look like.

You could make an HID conversion by doing a retrofit, which would remove the burned inner lense, or you could sell them for someone that wanted to make a retrofit but they don't want to risk messing up their main headlights. I bought a pair off eBay with burned inner lenses and I am going to retrofit them with HID once I finish my move to FL, which will be in a couple weeks. My Boxster is already down there... I miss it but my girlfriend has been driving it and she likes it

Definitely needs the badge, but I'd go with the monochrome black/silver

I dove into my cylinder heads today - Replacing lifters, chain ramps, tensioners, etc. Got cylinders 1-3 stripped and ready for reassembly.

Installed Fabspeed exhaust as well as an IPD plenum with a larger throttle body over the weekend. Put well over 200 miles just enjoying the upgrades.

Today, I applied leather to the bottom of my door pocket covers and updated the DIY with the pattern.

I looked at Boxxie sitting sadly in the garage.
Boohoo, when is this Winter ending? Still a lot of salt and sand (and rocks!) on the road. More snow coming the next couple of days. Getting seriously depressed.

+1 on that. Long term forecast says next day here above 45F will be in April. This day last year it was 80F.

Re: What did you do with/to your Boxster today?

-18 C (0F) this morning... it never seems to end...

Supposed to be spring now.

Most appreciated feature of my E65: heated steering wheel...
