One thing though, when I pulled my snorkle long time ago I noticed that the hole into the airbox is well below the diameter of the intake tube after the MAF housing. Guess that this is another restriction in the system that could be improved.
Anyone know if this hole possible to enlarge in a safe way?
Though the hole for the airbox is in fact smaller than the intake tube, it has a greater cross-sectional area than the throttle body. The cross-sectional areas are as follows:

Base of the snorkel: 96mm X 75mm ellipse = 5,655 mm^2

68mm throttle body = 3,632 mm^2

74mm throttle body = 4,301 mm^2

Of course, it never hurts to get more flow, even if just to hear more of that lovely intake sound, but it's not a point of restriction.
