Interesting - the forum seems to be mostly made up of engineering blokes in their 50's. No wonder it's such a great place!

A gaggle of detail oriented old farts, a secret agent and a 16 year old with a pony. Just my luck!

Soon to be 44, law enforcement / military reserves.

Fun car wise I've owed a '75 914, a '99 Miata, and Mrs. Claus recently let me buy a '00 Boxster (base) with 103K miles for X-mas. Loving my Boxster, but I know I'll dumping money into like I did the other cars. Its a sickness.

31, Healthcare compliance. I bought my 06 S in '08 when I worked as an editor in publishing.

I've always been obsessed with cars and especially Porsche for as long as I can remember. Bixby is my second Porsche of three, though i recently sold my Cayenne in an attempt to "grow up" (I've owned almost 20 cars and trucks).

I'm hoping a 2.5 is in my near future; I've ALWAYS wanted to get into racing... I figure, I'm just not getting any younger.

Sweet man Ill hopefully be done by 2014 how about you. Apparently engineers are drawn towards the boxsters, which is good news, lets us know that most of the technical advice we get is coming from a good background.

Wow...a lot of analyzers thus far in this group. And judging by the tech know-hows/instructions, I am very lucky to be a part of this forum.

Although I am to admit my OCD nature also...38 yo, bought Box new in 02, Dentist.

It helps that my wife is a doctor also. Life is good!

51, attorney. My 2001S is my second Boxster and sixth Porsche. I had a number of 911s, 77, 84, 87 and 05 as well as a 2001 Boxster base that I bought in 04 and sold in 08. I bought my current Boxster because I had more fun with my other Boxster than I ever had with another car.

I am 22 and I am an Industrial Engineer recently graduated from PennState working in Maryland. In the past, I have worked at 3 car dealerships, JiffyLube, and as a Domino's Delivery Driver, which helped me make the $15 per hour average needed to buy my first car at 21, a 2000 Porsche Boxster 5SPD MT.
