I changed the oil and put the Box S to sleep this past week. Weather in northern Illinois still continues to be nice, but I hadn't driven the car for the past month (too busy), so I bit the bullet and just decided it was time. Rest peacefully and think of next spring!

My guess is the fall AX is out of the question tomorrow. The only thing working in favor of the event is the temperature is 35.

all of the leaves are still on the trees around my place and the whole block is covered in snow. big clumpy, sticky, slushy snow. And of course the snow tires aren't on the Boxster yet (usually wait until Turkey day). Looks like I'll be taking the mountain bike to run my errands or rent a front wheel driver. Reason #432 why winter sucks

I started out this morning riding my bicycle (trying to keep my 6’ 2” 230 pound beer drinking girlish figure) in 70 degree weather. Later in the day I took a drive to Pismo Beach and Avila Beach and saw many girls wearing bikinis (eat your heart out JD), both locations were 84 degrees and the high today was 89. I think the best time of year on the left coast is September thru December. I’m still driving the Boxster with the top down!
