Unhappy Need Help!!! Instrument Cluster Problem

Hi all,

Im hoping someone here may have some advice please!!!

Last weekend I finally decided to install new face dials on my 2002 Box. (yellow Gambella dials!! which look great!)

So I downloaded and followed word for word instructions from the web. (found the link here). No problem, very easy actually. Very delicately removed everything and replaced in exactly the same place as before.

Fine, everything worked ok except the rev gauge...... So, pulled everythingy apart and checked the blue and green plugs to make sure they were in ok. Then everything failed except the temp gauge.

So im scared to try anything again. At this point all the digital info works fine and the temp gauge. I have no speedo, I have no rev gauge and no fuel gauge.

Anyone here know what to try????? Im out of ideas.

Porshes answer is to replace the whole instrument cluster for 2500€!!! Ill try anything first......then ebay as a last resort.

Thanks.

Did you disconnect the battery prior to removing the cluster?

the plugs just aren't seated properly. i doubt you've done any permanent damage.

Lake Macquarie is in AUSTRALIA!
It just takes longer for we Colonials to receive information from your area.
Are you going to tell me where I can get the yellow instrument cluster faces?
