Personally, I think the 986 is the better overall design. The 987 has some fussy detailing, although I really like the rear on the 987 gen 2.

I think this is sort of funny, I don't see any "menacing" aspects inherent to the 987 body. IMO, the most menacing Boxster, which can also back it's looks with blistering performance =
