what's the difference? If the packages are the only thing that separates them, that means, it is still a Miata, right?
Like Boxster and Boxster S?
Am I right, or I need to get my coffee first before I make a post for the day?
this is not bad at all, my oldest kid are looking into this one but insurance will kill me

2005 Mazda Miata

unklekraker, you actually posted pictures of two completely different cars.
The last pic is of a 2006 MX-5 (they dropped the "Miata" name) and the previous pic is indeed a 2005 MX-5 Miata.
Peer's car is just a Miata. But they are great cars...

I certainly agree. The only exception is when you have a hot chick do the shifting for you... and trying to film it.

But it's so darn difficult to walk backwards while shooting. Hence, all those from-behind-videos.

Just a Miata?! Well, it's built partially from a salvaged race car. Unfortunately, of some darn reason, I sold that thing. I've regret it ever since.
Here's a video of it. You'll also get a peek into my pathetic life -- an early morning after my old ex from Norway visited me and gave me this video camera that I'm shooting all those silly clips with:
