Rotary or just a tube chassis?

This thing I'm doing is coming along nicely. I'm holding off on setting the suspension height till I finish cutting the body off, but I'm chomping at the bit and ready to weld.

Tubes....

Pulled the H6 out last weekend, I forgot how heavy M96 engines are. Took some life out of me dragging it around to get the car out of the bay so I could use the chainfall to hoist the engine in the back of my truck.

If anybody wants a part I'm throwing away just let me know. Its all going to the dump (aka its free fifty) except for a couple of things I'm keeping for myself.

So, I am pecking away at this. The front framing is proving to be a challenge. Just finding places to weld to is kinda difficult.

The rear is almost done. I want to set the ride hieght before I add in the last of the upright supports. I went too low (or at least I think I did); I'll know for sure when I get the front done and I can put some simulated weight in it.

I did get my PP. Look at my PP. Its a nice PP, but it needs some scrubbing.... PP hehe.

Ok no more Peripheral Port jokes. LOL

I can't find anyone to make an adaptor plate, so I gave it a go.

The 986 flywheel has a piolet bearing inside it, so all I need is a machine shop to make a hubcentric adapter from the 13B to the 986 flywheel. Thrust and centering will be changed when I have that piece machined out, but for now this plate is "eyeballed" close enough so I can make motor mounts and an exhaust/intake/coolant pipe routing.

Here are some shrunken pics of the insanity....

And I finished adjusting the rear ride height and welded in the last of the rear... I did the front too, but it looks all the same.
