Thanks bmussatti, if they are same, they are designed for 986.
It fits 987, but not perfectly as with 986.

It's shocking if it is not OEM, FrayAdjacent....

I didn't realize how ugly they are (with amber inside) untill I took some pictures. I even did several for local Boxster owners, and they agreed it was one of the best cosmetic...

Replacing it with silver bulb has no effect unless you remove the amber.

Just remove them. It's easier than you think.
You will be surprised how big is the ugly piece is.

The true average value on 99 prabably around 15k. That said, as long as the car has the exact color combo and options you want, 5k can be justified. It's much better than buying the car with color...
