I second the concern about the price being too...
I second the concern about the price being too low. As was stated, make sure he knows quantity and quality of oil required. It is actually one the easiest oil changes to do.

I don't think I would take it to the same dealer who told me it was a pilot bearing. Do you have any independent Porsche shops in your area? Your local PCA chapter can help you find one.
