For me I am only working on one variable, I am using an ApexI SAFC to adjust the MAF signal. I am pretty close to ideal settings, just need to tweak the 4000RPM range to lean it out a bit, the rest of the range is pretty good, around 13:1. I've kind of stalled on the tuning piece as I'm focusing on the data logging. It's actually pretty good in terms of what you can get from CAN. I'll post in more detail later, but I've got RPM, TPS, MAF, Intake temp, coolant temp, road speed, clutch on/off, brake on/off, and a few others, along with GPS from an external receiver, and AFR from an AEM wideband. Still tuning the calculations on TPS and speed (I had them both working but then I managed to change something and forgot how I got them originally). I still need to track down oil temp, and hopefully add oil pressure through an analog sensor, and then I'm pretty much complete in what I want. I hope to get to the dyno soon as well. Also, my exhaust is stock at the moment, so hoping to build something there as well, as that is where the rest of the gains will be, from what I understand.

Interesting, I've never seen one installed in a modern car.

I've only seen similar devices in cars from the 90s, mainly Mazdas and Hondas.

What model are you installing specifically? I'd like to find out more info about it.

Thanks.
