Always make sure when you put it in park, you do it with a quick kind of hard push to make sure the car knows it's in park. My car would think the tans wasn't in park and wouldn't let me start it. It only did this for a little while and now I never have this issue. I didn't do anything, so I'm not sure why it did this for a short period.
