I don't think so. Using a compressor it creates vacuum within the cooling system. If your looking to get as much as the coolant out make sure the heater is on high and the car is nose up. I then used my airlift as prescribed to evacuate the air in the system and then filled the system with about 4 gallons of distilled water. Then completely drain the system again. You'll rinse out most of the old stuff. Airlift the system again and refill with the correct coolant/distilled water mix again.
