Interesting. I've been wondering if you could run it off the resonance flap vacuum line. I wondered how it would affect intake charging if both the resonance flap and plenum flap were closed and allowed the 986 to run as two 3 liter engines.

At around 5k rpm I think the 986 resonance flap opens so if we could tee that vacuum line, it might be possible to get the extra airflow advantage at high rpm, and retain low end torque.

Not sure if this is possible... Just a thought
