I have been looking to install a 3.4 in my 98' Boxster. I had a couple of questions. Looking to create a part-time track car.

Will the 3.4 marry to the stock transmission? Obviously swapping out the clutch.
What other mods are needed?

I'm doing my clutch and saw posts from you about your bushing for the shift lever leak. I have a machinist friend who can make a new opening for the bearing but asked me to see if you would sell the bearing or busing you make.

Brad, Sorry to have to bug you. Got your name as a possible solution to my problem.
I have a 98 Boxster that I am swapping in a 99 996 3.4. I am using the 2.5 Boxster harness
but I need to add some wires to the 5.2.2 DME pug to carry signals from a 996 motor
that is not on the 2.5 motor harness. The wire will go on pin #59...... but..... I need find where I can buy the female spade connector(to hold the wire). Can you help me?
