Agreed. Even if it's activated by accident, a touch of the brake pedal turns it off imemdiately. I understand the concern, as it could be a problem on some cars, but I don't think you should be worried about it, and if you notice the light has turned on by you brushing against the switch or something, then you can just shut it off. Seeing as you have to press the switch forward (toward the front of the vehicle) in a very deliberate motion in order to set the cruise speed, it's not likely you'll activate it accidentally.
