Power Steering

I potentially am buy a 97 Boxster. It looks clean and well maintained except it feels like there's no power steering. I wasn't driven a lot in the last 6 months. Is the power steering not as strong on these cars or am I looking at a repair bill and if so how big?

It's quite possible your reservoir is dry.
Are you handy?
