    Just read that you built a 3.6L Boxster motor. I assume you used the LN sleeves etc. Although I did not attend Raby school, this is one of the choices I am considering for my own 01 Box S. I would appreciate your advice. Another option I am considering is just having 2 or 3 EBay spare motors to swap in as needed.

    Try turning the ignition key to the on position while a battery maintainer is plugged into the lighter socket, should give you enough juice to pop the lid.
