Got my cable on Saturday. Looks like a quality piece, that's for sure!

Looks like an amazing job with the cables. I would love to do this to my Boxster. Bump for good DIY.

Update: ordered a set and received them in the mail. Just as I thought, top notch work, thanks.

Hi Kram,

I'm in the process of doing the same on mine using Pdwight's harness. My question, where did you find the shroud where the stalks protrude?

Or did you dremel the lower hole?

The rubber shroud has pre marked indentations on the back side. All you need is a utility or exacto knife to cut it out.

Thanks Bruce,

I have the harness & the stalk, it's just to darn cold to work in the garage!

BTW Top speed came through on the same deal and I bought the test pipes. Thank you for that tip as well.

I forgot to mention I bought this because my turn signal broke. I was looking at the 3 stalk to replace mine and found that one. Sure glad I got it and the wire harness from Pdwight, which made it such an easy mod. He even includes directions of where to plug everything in at.

No problem Don! Even here in Texas I am tired of this winter already, way too cold. I moved down here from the North to get away from cold weather! You will like the results of both projects! Hopefully you can get in the garage soon

Bruce

I bought the whole unit off eBay for $199.99 shipped.

There is another one for sale by the same person I bought mine from.

This is the first I have seen of this. Cool that i can activate the OBC on my 2001 S. I have a 3 stalk so is there another place where I an look at step by step procedure for the upgrade?

Also, do I need to buy a 4 stalk?

Generally, it is tough to buy just the stalk. I bought a 4 stalk and removed the OBC stalk from it and installed the stalk on my OEM 3 stalk. Then run Dwight's harness from there to the gauge cluster. Pelican has a good DIY guide with pictures. You will then have to have your computer activated. I went to my local indie mechanic who charged me $50. The stalk ran $129 from Oklahoma Foreign on eBay.

Yes, this is annoying. I think it's usually either someone that doesn't understand how an auction works or the seller using multiple accounts to drive up the price prematurely.

I have the 4 stalk in my feed for you. Will let you know
