spyder, are the wheels available with a porsche crest and leather like the the earlier pics? i know that anything is possible, but i'm not looking to spend a fortune on just a steering wheel.

Brad, you can get the wheel exactely personalized what you wish for. In Germany it is not allowed to put the porsche crest on our wheels, but our own crest has same measurements like the oem... but ours is just stuck and it can easily exchanged.

There´s a lot of options that we offer and so we can realized every personal wishes from customers. to become an "economic" value, it is possible to cover only the airbag module with leather... but keep in mind... we use the porsche nappa leather, the wheels from the latest images are only covered with standard automotive leather... you will see the different between quality.

They're not meant to only "look" nice actually, thats not the main idea behind changing a steering wheel! They are twice heavier and thicker, and they are smaller in diameter (bye bye school bus porsche wheel!). I bet you've never driven one of those for saying this It's day and night buddy

Ask yourself how many minutes/hours you drive or race your car... now those should match the exact same time your hands are on your steering wheel. Lastly, picture yourself holding to a real "high quality & sporty" steering wheel all of that time

Priceless imo

now that i could work with. i have never had a wheel recovered. what did you have to do to get the much thicker rim? i'd spring for that on my 3 spoke wheel. i especially like the alcantara/suede. very nice.
