Nice, I been looking into changing my steering wheel to something like this, but instead with silver stitching and silver center mark

I'm not feeling the stitching around the airbag, but yes, that color is nice. Also a center line at the top of the steering wheel in the 12 o'clock position..

Hi Spyder - I've installed this 320mm with the F1 style gear shifting flaps (tiptronic). Pure comfort, thick grip and heavy.... I was very happy to literally send the little skinny Porsche steering wheel to my favourite trash as soon as I've finished installing this one believe me

Your custom steering wheels are extremely beautiful, keep up the amazing work mate!

The stitching around de airbag must be, because it is very danger without when you have a crash... the airbag can not come out or comes too late out...

Our´s work absoluteyl perfect... as you can see.

We are flying an old mate from Verona (Italy) down to Shanghai beach to finish the 986's full interior with a combination of black soft napa with red alcantara accents (w/ double & single RED stitchings and glossy guard red interior plastics... mix of techart and ferrari style copy!). That's why we went for the black wheel and not the Savanna.

As soon as the avg temp here reaches 22 degree (spring) we'll be able to crack on with this custom interior. Free (friendly) custom job but the napa and full porsche new carpets were not the cheapest unfortunately :/ Should be nice tho....

Oh me the first you have no idea! I may need your professional services at some stage for something else anyway so…. definitely keeping in touch.

I have to say tho.... my steeeeering wheel of choice will still remain my blade's one. I find it much easier and natural to deal with inertia at over 280km/hr with sticks

have only had my box for a few months, but would eventually like a thicker rimmed wheel. what wheels are available for the 986 that keep the airbag? not interested in going the non-airbag momo/sparco route.

Brad, these airbag-steeringwheels are all available in 320mm or 340mm diameter, those are standard models, no custom made or personalized.

Spyder - you obviously don't keep up with the official forum NEWS! Everybody already spent all they money on ims bearings at their independant pcar garage.

It is such a scare that you will almost get flamed if you do 1 (one) mod on your car without doing the, now famous, IMS retrofit
