2000 S with 3.4 $16,000

I've had lots of fun with her, but it's time to let her go. Everything you would want to know about the car's history will be in this thread http://986forum.com/forums/show-tell-gallery/59449-woodys-build-thread-14.html It currently has 57,000 miles on the motor. The rest of it has around 80k. I've also switched back to stock seats. It's best to call/text me at 512-925-9171....Thanks Woody

If I didn't have my '04 Special Edition I'd be buying this today. It's priced too low for today's market! GLWS

Wow, fantastic. Almost same mileage as my 1999 3.4, both engine and chassis, but yours seems better dialed in. My local shop told me not to take a penny under $20k for mine in this market. Great deal!

Apparently 996s are now the in thing. Perhaps that is bleeding into the early 986 bracket..... I have had a couple guys approach me regarding buying my 2000S. Never use to happen with strangers before. You have picked the peak to sell at.

Small analog sports cars with a flat six are probably what folks are keying in on. Even 996s are very small by today's standards....the size differential very striking when you walk up on one.

Thanks guys. The price for these things are really going up. In my opinion it's 50/50% covid related and interest in this generation. The value of engines and transmissions for the 986 and 996 generation have gone way up. I could get more parting it out as a low mile 3.4 is approaching $10k now. I love this car too much to do that to it though. I just sold my SC and have other items I'm selling so I might raise enough money elsewhere to where I don't need to sell it

Anytime Woody posts, its a treat for any enthusiast. If I was in the market for a 986, this would be my first choice in heartbeat simply because I know Woody does things right. GLWTS
