I notice that there are a couple links inserted in the post that have nothing to do with the car. (Forensic anthropology and E85 gas...)
I don't think the listing was ever legitimate. Probably part of a scam or phishing scheme. Images and listing info are probably copied from somewhere else.

nice catch, i didnt spend the time to notice that, but I did notice how nice the pictures are. Everyone of them excellent, like they are from a brochure, and the tag is out there?

Those pics look like a 550 SE that por356c was looking at in NC. Think he had it for sale in 986 classifieds too. Quite possibly this one was a scam - 1 post and no follow-up.

Hi Terry - no, this is not the one I was looking at in NC - this one has many more miles than the NC car. Some of the pics look a bit similar as I remember. I was really upset and really blew it by not buying the NC car. But, ultimately, fortune shown upon me a few weeks later because I was very fortunate to get my 04 Special Edition 550 Spyder (40k miles) from a fine gentleman in New Jersey at a great price - super well maintained. I pinch myself every time I walk in the garage! I was very lucky.
