Tom sorry I've been out a while. Looks like Steved0X took care of you though. Pentosin CHF11 contains a high percentage of Petroleum distillates. You can see on the product list on the can.You can search but in short these are in the gasoline range of the petroleum stream and contain a high percentage of solvents. These solvents are extremely aggressive toward rubber and will soften them to the point they will no longer withstand pressure. Not a lot you're going to be able to do at this point since it is now in the rubber of the hoses, but at minimum spray some Simple Green, soak and rinse off. Or better yet replace those hoses and check the belt. Good Luck my Friend.

Every kind of oil eats rubber - even hydraulic oil. So i would recommend to clean everything up as soon as possible and remove the leakage.

I would recommend water and soap and a sponge to clean and a final clean with pure water. If the rubber is dried you can put / massage some talcum on / in it.

Thanks 911Monty and everyone for the advice. I went out and cleaned as much off as I could this evening.

As always, the 986Forum is the best!
