I hope so! I've been involved in the Audi/VW forum scene for years as a moderator, administrator and contributor. I'm also a past technical editor for European Car Magazine. I post on Planet9 occasionally as I also own a 2008 Cayman S.

I've contemplated building something similar which is why I'm watching this thread!!

(Eric) already built it..

but why build something if I have ZERO chance of selling it? I know there are people out there right now building similar cars!!

Why not buy one built for .50 on the dollar and *adapt* it to your liking??

Brad,

I went into my build years ago with the mind set of building it for myself. I never worried about the resale value that it may/may not bring in the future. I built it for my own fun and that is what I've had over the years.

To anyone building a race car, do it for your own desires.

I hope to pass the pleasure on.

New VIDEO

Here is another video I created today to outline some of the key features that I felt a potential buyer would want to know. I tried to walk through the car showing you features that I would show a prospective buyer if they showed up at my house.

Some of these are basic and others, I feel, are a cut above other builds.
