Bump. Good looking car. Engine and trans sound good!!
|
Mate isn't this car a bit too fast maybe? no?!
I mean I took my 2.5 on the track a few times already, it's fun and scary but nothing that bloody fast in any ways. I'm glad I never took a ride with you on a circuit brotha, I'd crap my pants I think (nice video btw.... wakes up the adrenaline big time) |
Brad,
Thanks for the bump. The 3.6L is an awesome motor and the exhaust that was developed for the car makes it sound great. If you know anyone in the market please direct them to my link. I have a new house (old house) that we are remodeling and needles to say, I'm motivated... |
Nine8Six,
I don't think the car is too fast. I do know that the MoTeC ecu could be retuned to make more HP and TQ so it could always go faster. If anyone has questions about the car, I have it in my home garage now and can take pictures of any specific part/piece if needed. |
NEW Video
Video of cockpit review, start up, and walk around. Goal is to show folks, who can't see the car in person, a little more about my car.

I'd like to ask publicly: what keeps people from buying this car?
Seriously? Motec AirJacks Moton's Those 3 things right there SCREAM quality/pro build. Am I missing something? Has it been wrecked 100 times?? Can someone step up and be honest with me? Is it strictly price based? Too expensive? I see 60k in the car if i just throw a pencil on paper! |
I know how much the "quick disconnects" run for the shocks!! (sad I know)
|
I do have to ask this: why do people put rags/socks/zip ties around the brake fluid reservoir cap????
I know *why* people do it.. but why not correct the problem? instead of putting a band aid on it? Two words: Turkey Baster!! PULL SOME FLUID OUT!! Run it where the top piece meets the bottom piece!! The issue is: people see low fluid, so they ADD fluid ??? YOUR PADS ARE WORN!! LOL when you install new pads?? what happens?? the FLUID raises up past the full point!! then spills over when heated!! Rant over :) I've never run the socks/sweat bands/rags.. never.. :) |
Brad,
Thanks for the questions on why it isn't selling. Unfortunately, I can't answer that any more than you can. The numbers invested keep me awake at night vs. what the market will bear. The good news is someone will get a great build at pennies on the dollar. Regarding the cloth over the brake fluid reservoir, I think you answered your own question/rant but here is my take. I like to have a high brake pedal even when the pads are worn past half way. The only way I know how to accomplish this is to keep the fluid at its max fill mark (that or replace pads when they hit half used). So, sure you could lower the volume but I think the pedal feel is longer when you do that. My fix is put the cloth over it so it absorbs all the spillage so the fluid doesn't sit in the bottom of the trunk or get all over the battery/fire bottle. Hope to find a good home for her soon. And NO the car hasn't been wrecked 100 times. It is straight and corner balances like no other with the weight in the middle. Alignment and tire wear are outstanding. Just saying. |
makes me cringe to think the market is so soft for my own car. Oh well, guess I get to keep it!
Good luck on the sale |
Hoping to frequent this forum as its new owner soon!

I've contemplated building something similar :) which is why I'm watching this thread!!
(Eric) already built it.. :) but why build something if I have ZERO chance of selling it? I know there are people out there right now building similar cars!! Why not buy one built for .50 on the dollar and *adapt* it to your liking?? |
