Things to Check on a 2019 (718) Boxster?

I may help out a long distance buyer next week by taking a look at a local car. I know 986s very well, but not anything newer than a 987.
The car is a 2019 w/PDK with fairly low miles. Looks good in pics. If I do look at it, does anyone here have a good idea of what I can check visually without significant tools or a lift that would make it worthwhile? The seller says they will not allow an outside PPI at another shop.

I’ve driven one, but can provide no real insight over any other used car purchase.
My real concern would be that they won’t allow a PPI.

This would concern me. In today's world of internet sales, you have to allow PPIs. How do you verify the car's real? Lots of fake / stolen ads at fake dealerships that appear real, so be careful. Or the owner is so old they don't realize that's a given in today's world.

Beyond that, I'd see what records they have. Has the 40K mi service been done? Doesn't matter the mi, it should be done due to age. Dealers want $5K for that service. It's not a deal breaker if it hasn't been done (that's my Wheeler Dealer niche), but it better be priced accordingly.

Has the PDK flush been done? I believe by 2019, Porsche had gone to a 12 yr / 120K mi recommendation, which is way too long. If the car's been tracked, you HAVE to change it more often. You have to have Porsche do the flush if you want a 100% flush and they charge $1K (if you DIY it, you'll get an 85% flush).

Beyond that, look at the typical items - tire dates, panel gaps, color mismatches, top works, wheel curb rash, windshield chips, pwr windows / pwr options work, etc.

I suggest running away, it isn't the only car available....

Thanks for the replies, especially the specifics about the 40k and PDK services. I'm forwarding this to the prospective buyer. The car is at a major dealership and I agree that an outside PPI at one of the nearby Porsche-knowledgeable independent shops should be permitted.
This is an instance where I wish I had kept my PCA membership to have good contacts in the local community.
