Fuel sender leak or gas tank leak?

Boxster 2002 - code P0455
I checked all the lines and didn’t find any leak. The only sign of leak is at the top of the tank / sender.
There’s a strong smell of gas in the cabin. I replaced the sender’s gasket, but the smell of gas persists. I noticed that the connectors show signs of leak. Do you think is worth to replace the connectors or I need to replace the sender?
Please look at the pic before I replaced the gasket.
