Porsche Key button repair: providing a youtube video demonstrating a repair for the buttons on the key as they are known to go out. quick little fix i will be doing myself soon. also providing link directly to purchasing said repair kit including 3 replacement switches, some solder, and solder removal braid. note, a new battery will be needed too

Video:

Purchasing repair kit:
https://batee.com/collections/porsche/products/986-996-boxster-carrera-911-keyless-transmitter-repair-kit

the video shows how easy it is to do the repair itself this is just a screenshot to visually show whats expected with the links

Heres an amazon link to the wind deflectors used for the 986 boxsters. Ive seen some out there for crazy prices but this one seems to be reasonable (i know its $200 for plastic). I plan on modeling and 3D printing them myself soon and ill attach the file here once done too so no one needs to pay as much.

Right on!

I was a little disappointed to see the speaker brackets for the cubby are not available - only one seller in the UK who won't share (or even sell) the design.

Having received the kit it's not too complex - i'd be encouraged to try designing myself next time.
