Safety Tip

Do not bump your head here, climbing under the car:

At the ER now with a possible small skull fracture.
Edit: Minor concussion, No fracture. 👍. Wife is not going to let me work on the car for a couple days. 👎

Happy to hear that you are ok!

My biggest worry, while under the car is a jack stand failure..

Dude. Glad to hear you're OK... at least better than a fracture.

Listen to the wfe. Car still will be there.

Take care.

Glad you are OK. It's surprising that we don't see more reports of this kind.

Listen to wifey and take a few days off. Glad it wasn't worse.

I'm still on blood thinners from my heart attack for another 2 mos. I have to be very careful about bumps to the noggin. I bruise from the simplist bump. Got a tennis ball sized bruise (nice yellow and purple colored) on my bicep from doing maint on the Boxster. Looking fwd to late Dec to be off the thinners.

This reminds me of the safety tip in Ghost Busters about not crossing the streams, lol.
"Right. That’s bad. Okay. Alright. Important safety tip. Thanks, Egon"
Glad you're ok! If my wife told me to take a couple of days off, I'd have to listen because she winds up being the second pair of hands I need to get stuff done in the car. Heal well!

Thanks all. The moment it happened, I felt like a complete idiot, then pain.
The engine and transmission had been secured back in the car. I had lowered the car on the jack stands a couple inches and was about to bolt the clutch slave back on.
Bending over and sliding forward under the car I head-butted that corner just above my forehead in the center. Focused on the clutch slave and apparently oblivious to the rest of my surroundings.
