If the broken portion is accessible repair might be an alternative.
Note that this repaired hose has only been in my car for a couple of weeks but so far it seems to be working.

I was looking at your "So... I have this spare engine" thread and saw this picture in post #12. Is the red dotted line the breather hose? This one doesn't look like it goes under the passenger side manifold as mine does.
