I’m having a miserable time, my legs are too long and driving is not pleasurable. There is a company here in CA that sells something that fits under the existing track called extend my seat.com For some cars they guarantee up to an additional 6 inches for my Boxster maybe 1-2inches, sadly that will not be enough. Does anyone know if the pedals can be adjusted fo give more leg room? Thanks for your time
The extend my seat.com thing lists the Boxster because it uses the same seat and tracks as the 996. But there is some floor space behind the front seats in the 996 because of the rear seat footroom. In the 986 the seat can already be moved back to be up against the rear bulkhead engine access panel. The extend my seat.com device may bolt into the Boxster, but there isn't anywhere for the seat to go.
