Good to see you back on the forum pdwight. I was just thinking about ordering a harness for the OBC. Hope all is well with you now.
I have 2001S with an early hardtop. It fits fine, but there is a bit of noise on the road when the body flex’s and the rubber makes some noise. Someone here recommended Gummyflege to soften the rubber and reduce the noise. There are some adjustments that could be made to the locking mechanism to adjust the tightness and fit. Dwight glad to see you are back , health issues have a way of getting in the way . On your hardtop moving issue are you sure you have cam locks in the chassis for the hardtop pins to lock to ? If yes are you sure the top is seating down far enough for the lock handles to engage the spin locks ? When I put my hardtop on it is as solid as a rock .
