AFAIK, the fuel door lock is tied in with the door locking system. So if the door lock fuse is working, then the fuel door lock should be working.

Does that mean I have to take off the wheel liner to see if the cable is unplugged and that is the only viable culprit at this point (other than a coincidental catastrophic failure of the actuator)?

Thanks. So are there not any other possible culprits aside from the suggestion of a possibly disconnected wire (other than a rather unusual coincidental catastrophic failure of the actuator)? And does this require removal of the wheel liner to check?
