Are you trying to be funny? The OP may miss that and think you are giving good advice.

Most German cars have a rear fog light, only on one side.

				For the record....

.....to be perfectly clear, the factory rear fog light is ONE brighter “brake light” and the driver”s side.
 You are fine.

I was being facetious. JC888888888, in the post immediately preceeding BoxMann's inquiry, and near one year ago, answered the very question.

Haha, well I guess that if one reads the whole thread, one can assume that the OP surely «missed that» since the issue has been clearly discussed and has been kicking around for over a year. This topic has become a forum meme. Some things never die!

I'm not the OP, but I did ask the question yesterday, because it wasn't answered in a crystal clear fashion earlier in the thread, and I just wanted to confirm. And I knew Starter was joking. I wasn't about to have my Boxster towed to the shop and have the engine and transmission removed to diagnose the problem.

Just wanna confirm, is that all it's supposed to be, or do I have a bulb out?

FWIW, I don't intend to drive my car in foggy conditions, so it's probably all moot anyway.

That's all it's supposed to be and FYI the rear fog light bulb is the exact same bulb as your brake light bulbs. The rear fog light is a separate section of the taillight than the taillight or the brake light.
