Coolant overflow

hello to you all

Ive got a issue.... every time I put the coolant to level ( min or max) then turn the engine on let it heat up... before or at same time the fans goe on... the coolant just appears under the right rearside wheel ......

its from the overflow... but whats causing this problem?


Breather valve?? got it out "looks" ok O- rings look normal to me ( don't see a problem)

water tank CAP ??

worts of all ... water pump in some way...??

Would appreciate some advice

The most common issue that will cause coolant to come out of the overflow (located above the right rear wheel) is an air bubble in the coolant system. Next time you top up the coolant, remove the plastic cover underneath the coolant and oil caps and flip the bleed valve open. Drive with it open for a few days, then close it. The bleed valve will help any air in the system purge, and hopefully resolve your issue. Best, -Rick

Other things that are easy to check...

Pull the rear trunk carpet up on the side of the coolant tank and check for any signs of coolant.

3. Remove fire wall carpet and access panel. Run the car and look for any signs of leaking around the water pump. or hoses.

yeah checked under the trunk carpet all is dry

did as rick told me to do and looks all ok now ( better then before ) been all morning testing , later in afternoon will check more

but still leaks a bit drops still coming....

Are you getting an condensation on the Trunk lid?
The condensation can drip back and work it's way down the over flow tube. That's why you may see just a couple of drops.

yes I am getting some condensation... CAP for sure :P and I can hear the air coming out of the cap ... so I ordered a new one ending in (04) then ill see what happens when it arrives maybe its only that ( I hope ) !!!
