Was this just a staright head unit swap? I didnt think this was possible with the Porsche MOST system in the Boxster

It was one of the first things I did with my 2001 S, it was so easy and improved things so very much. The most difficult thing was getting the old head unit out.

I did the same swap with a Kenwood BT unit, and kept the factory amp and eq. Just had to buy a wiring harness of amazon. $9 to wire it all up. It was a direct swap, with no extra brackets or anything need it. However when I did mine, I moved the climate control down, took the storage bin out, and used the extra space to install a tablet in the dash.
