I wish my car wasn't in storage as there is no way I can describe this without pics...
probably the most useless post of 2017 so far

I made a small metal Z shaped/shelf-like bracket out of sheet metal that slides in between the upper and lower console (the space below the radio) and I can set my phone on it horizontally. Perfect for using my phone's nav.

When I don't need it, I put it in the center console compartment. I'll try to snap a pic this weekend if I can get to the car.

I'm having a problem also mounting my phone on the dash 2003 S, any suggestions?

Sorry fanguy... the Motorola Dynatac 6000X is no longer supported for use in a Boxster!
