New Member and Happy Owner of 1998 Boxster
Hello...I just purchased a new-to-me 1998 White Porsche Boxster. I only had it for a week and it already stole my heart. It has 52K miles on it, paint is like new, no dings or scratches on the body and the leather chairs has no "butt marks" LOL!!
On researching about my car I stumbled upon this forum and I am looking forward to reading all your informative posts here.
In the meantime let me introduce you to my lovely new Porsche Boxster.

Never seen white before on a boxster. Looks great with the black roof and trim.
Enjoy the ride.

Yes, pictures on the first post so we know it happens.
Congrats on the boxster and welcome to the forum.
Red is my color, unfortunately my dogs do not match.

Thank you!! Good to know that the '98 is a good one...being not much of a car-savvy person, I am hoping that this will not give me much trouble LOL!!

Congrats and welcome!
Nice car! Good luck with it. I suggest you join the PCA as well. Tons of great information, support and friends there as well.
Our dog is white as well and she doesn't shed, so she is welcome in our Box any time

Oooo...then make friends with a good indy mechanic. These cars require a lot of maintenance but that's just the nature of a German automobile. Plan for 1-2k a year in maintenance costs. If you are handy a lot of the maintenance you can do yourself. If not, find a mechanic because the Porsche dealer will take your house in costs if you let them.

I am on the hunt now for a good Porsche mechanic here in Southern California. We have a very good mechanic right now that service our BMW...I will ask if he can also do Porsche cars.

Two cars in one
Nice color, lol mine is white with tan top and interior. The top is down almost all the time and it is a different car from driving with the top up. My advice to you is read about how to exercise the motor which by the way is rather small but more than enough if you keep the rpm up. This car is amazing, enjoy.:dance:
