Newer, but I wouldn't take a 110k 987 base over a 986 S. I'd take a 2000S over an 04 any day as well if the price difference justifys value. No matter how good a glass top is or upgraded parts I wouldn't pay 10k more for a car with identical if not more miles that is at the end of the day the same engine and platform made to look better.
