Outside Air Temp

I own the same car and (to my knowledge) my display has never shown the outside air temp. Am I missing something? Was that an option my car may not have? No, you saw correctly. The car has the on board computer activated, which shows the outside air temp by default. To do this, you need to re code the DME.

I believe all boxsters came with the onboard computer- it's just they didn't activate it and give you a stick to toggle through the features. But if you activate it you can get the outside temp but can't use the other features. With a little more work on the steering wheel you can get use all the functions besides the temp.
