If anyone buys that, I'm willing to send them 9 quarts of synthetic 5W-40 oil with under 3,000 miles use. Just pay shipping. I can even include a slightly used filter with no ferrous metal in it.

that's nice of you. i'll chip in too - if someone buys it, i'll throw in some brake pads; the pad material is gone, but the backing plates are in great shape.

What is a 2006 Cayman S roller with 52,000 miles worth? Seems to me it would be more like $4,000, considering the cost of a replacement engine, installation labor and other incidentals?

Left hand Porsche headlight left over from a repair I did several years ago. From a 2004 Boxster. It's been sitting in a box in my shop and I am cleaning up.

I spotted a 98 in NY for cheap on Monday, sent it to a friend and he picked it up Wednesday. Runs and drives for the price of a roller. He drove it back (against my advice) 2+hrs without issue.

It does need quite a bit of work.

This one makes me sad

First noticed it a month or two ago. Listed again now.
https://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/6171609522.html
Says "boxster s", but I see no indication it's an S. The paint on the front half looks about as glossy as truck bed-liner. Seats look shot. Lots of other minor indicators, that it could be an expensive car to own over the next few years.
I don't think that statements like this help sell: "Don't have the time to do games that's why I'm offering such a good deal! Had heart surgery and need a truck asap!!"

I bought this back in November. The seller took $1200 for it. It has 128K miles and runs well. It was stuck in 2nd gear, had no reverse, the top had broken plastic ball joints and a handful of other cosmetic issues. I drove it 14 miles home and around the neighborhood tinkering for a few months then let it sit until recently. I yanked the transmission, replaced a sheared selector shaft pin, poked around and now I'm getting ready to pop the transmission back in. I suspect I'll have a daily driver for well under $1800 when I'm done.

Sometimes the risk really pays off. Hope it does for you!

As I have said a number of times here, the Boxster is a car of great risks and huge rewards!
