New MAF,a funky idle.

blinkwatt Registered User Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Sacramento Posts: 3,417	New MAF,a funky idle. After a long wait my new MAF has finally showed up. After installation I started the car up and noticed the idling was bouncing around a tiny bit. The car ran pretty darn good after I installed the new MAF,no hesitation as reported before. After a spirited drive I pulled in the driveway and the car idled fine. Does the DME adjust to the new MAF,is that what caused the funky idle? __________________ -99' Zenith Blue 5-spd...didn't agree with a center divider on the freeway -01' S Orient Red Metallic 6-spd...money pit...sold to buy a house
