Sure--the point is there is no benefit to a spin-on metal filter over a cartridge type. The claims made for the LN sound just like using toilet paper for filter material.

I've used the LN spin-on adapter since it came out with the Napa Gold filter. Far better oil filtration and eliminates the factory bypass. I also installed the LN magnetic oil drain plug to look for ferrous material at every oil change.

  1. No by-pass under any conditions
  2. 30-35% finer media pore diameter than OEM style filters
  3. Spin on filters, becuase they are so widely used, are a fraction of the cost of the OEM style filter
