Hey Bruce, that looks a lot like one of my offices. I'm a management consultant, and routinely fly AA from ORD -> EWR, LGA and lately LHR & CDG... Do you ever fly those routes?

I used to, until management decided to pull back from Chicago, which I don't understand. I rarely come through Chicago anymore, but yes, I have done the EWR and LGA routes many a time, as far as the overseas flights go, no I am not senior enough to get that flying I am going to EWR and back tomorrow but that is out of DFW. Not too many Bruce's out there though, if you hear my name, pop your head in the cockpit and say hi

Director of Engineering/New Product Development (many different companies). When a company needs a new product created on-time and on-budget, they hire me. Led teams that have designed everything from mini-MP3 players to F-16 Avionics and Tomahawk cruise missile guidance systems. Right now, working on a new helicopter rescue hoist.

I only got to fly a Lear once, it was a 23 and will never forget it That was a rocket ship! I have always loved the looks of the Falcons. The MD80 is not exactly modern, we still "have to fly" it is well, which is just fine by me. I love pulleys and cables!

I wouldn't have any qualms about flying the Mad Dog!!! I think they're bada$$!!

The strange thing about the Falcons is that they have boosted controls, which is a lil odd for a jet that small.

Of course, if you've ever seen this video, I guess there's some validity to their design.....

Great video, thanks! The Mad Dog is fun, I will admit it, a bit of a handful in a strong crosswind with such a long fuselage but really pretty predictable. Planes are like cars, there are many that I would love to fly/drive!

And then some..... now that we're into the colder weather... 5000-6000 FPM at 280 Kts at lighter weights is pretty typical in the 10.
