Thanks for the support guys. I am optimistic now that the dealer ( paramount Porsche in hickory, nc ) seems to be working with me. It is amazing how lucky you can feel just to get what you are entitled to these days because of all the hoops you have to jump through. I will keep you posted on the progress.

Fingers crossed, Mountainman, but it sounds as if the dealership is doing the right thing and trying to assist one of their customers. Keep us posted, but I suspect that all will work out in the end.
