Forum Contest inside!!! add a little mojo to the group
As the snows begin to melt, we prepare ourselves and our cars for yet another amazing drop top summer. This is when the need to fix little odds and ends is over ridden by the urge from our loins to go hammer corners in these beasts! Being a community, it is our responsibility to help nudge those who will continue to hammer corners without maintaining the "little things."
Goal of this contest is to help mojo amongst the board.
Contest is........ (Drumroll) free shifter boots to the top 3 pictures of ugly interiors! (possibly might be gifting the center console arm pad as well)
Rules
Must post a picture of YOUR own interior by 23:59 PST, Friday April 26
**to prove it is your interior, there needs to be a thumbs up in the picture**
We will vote for top 3!
(I know, this is rocket science)
The Prize boots can be; Alcantara, leather, Pleather, or W/E they want! denim perhaps lol! (just has to be in reason/accessible)
Good luck!
I do not sell shifter boots, this is merely me trying to help others, if you do not like it, IDGAF!

Do pistachio shells count as thumbs?? Hehe. Old picture.
My interior is fine, but I'm sure someone will be grateful for your generosity.

This is quite an unusual and amusing contest. I will certainly enter as my shifter boot is toast. My interior is clean- just rather well worn from wear and tear. Not out of neglect, mind you, but have been trying to find the time and gather the hardware/parts for an overhaul.

An ugly interior contest? Now that's my kind of competition.
That's clearly my knee in the picture. That counts as a thumbs up in my book
Also I'm not sure why I have a rubber hammer in the car. I'm even more unsure as to why I have a box of drill bits in the car. Ah, old pics.

Strangepork; Mcguiver would have a hay-day in your car! lol
Kenny; lets see them pics!
My old jeep forum we did stuff like this all the time to help build the community. Shifter boots just happens to be something that is easy to make for me, cheap to ship and something a to help nudge those into "maintaining" the rest of their interior

For the mod-haters
If you hate modded Boxsters and believe our cars are most beautiful in stock form, I present my ugly interior.
Actually, at the end of lat season I had autocrossed in the rain so much that it really was very dirty!

She's clean, but seen better days. Pretty worn inside, but nothing a makeover can't fix. Am planning a big project later on.

Two thumbs up for Kenny's car. The Shift Boot did not come out well in the pic, but, after seeing it firsthand, it is NOT a thing of beauty.

ccstud17, It was a good effort and very cool that you put this out there. Either there are just not that many messy Boxster interiors out there, or they just don't GAF. Over 500 have viewed the thread and only 7 interiors posted... including my (almost) pristine one.
