First I masked off the shape of the main beams into an oval using painters tape and an exacto knife. Then I purchased VHT spray tint and removed the lights and prepped them for paint. I set my oven to about 250 degrees and put some wooden posts on the metal brackets so they won't melt the plastic of the lights. Then I painted them one light coat after another and stuck them in the oven until they were dry to the touch and let them sit overnight. I'm thinking of clear coating them soon to give it a better finish. You can still se the turn signals after multiple coats though.
